Watch the moon rise! Have a picnic dinner, or make popcorn, or just watch it happen together. Beautiful sight, especially the full moon. Here is a link to the U.S. Naval Observatory website. You can find the time of the moon rise for any day, any location. Go away from the town to the east and watch the moon in all it’s glory. Play “I spy the moon”. Who is first to see it break the horizon? Bring some binoculars, or a telescope if you have one. It is still impressive just looking with your unaided eyes. The full moon only rises 12 or 13 times a year and some of those are obscured by clouds. It is a rare and beautiful sight.
